Tanner & Dave removing the popcorn ceilings. It was much easier than we anticipated and only took a few hours to scrape them off in the living room and dining room. Yay!
My Dad came in to completely to completely take out the cabinets of the kitchen. Then Tanner and Grandpa scraped out the linoleum floors to discover more original wood in the kitchen.
The after effects of the popcorn ceilings. It made a huge mess, we were all covered in dust. Luckily, Lori and Grandpa Griffin saved the day by taking on the job of cleaning it up. I'm just so glad it is gone now. It makes the house already feel more up to date.
This Pepto Bismol room which is planned to be the master bedroom is where my Mom and I hung out in all day. We scraped off the parts of the walls that had loose paint and mudded the walls trying to get it ready to be painted. I cannot wait to paint this room and get rid of the pink.
